6” french or sub roll, sliced ½ lengthwise
2 TBL butter, softened
2 tsp EVOO
1 tsp garlic, minced
2 TBL Parmesan cheese
1 TBL fresh parsley, fine chop
Set oven to 350°F
Mix butter, EVOO, Parmesan cheese, garlic and parsley in small mixing bowl
Smother mixture evenly onto bread halves
Place prepared bread open face on sheet pan.
Place pan in middle rack of oven for 10 minutes.
Finish on BROIL for 2 minutes to crisp top and sides. Watch carefully so bread does not burn.
Remove from oven. Use a serrated knife to cut slices to eat.
Best enjoyed hot from the oven!
TIP! For soft Garlic Bread, combine prepared bread halves and wrap in aluminum foil. Bake 15 minutes.
